For the second Saturday in a row, the Ankeny volleyball team traveled to eastern Iowa for a tournament featuring several ranked squads. Centennial boys, Ankeny teams turn in strong races at ‘competitive’ Bobcat Invite

A total of 40 boys' and girls' cross country teams competed in the Bobcat Invitational on Thursday at Marshalltown Community College, including both Ankeny squads and the Ankeny Centennial boys' team. The Ankeny girls' tennis team closed out the regular season on Thursday with an 11-0 loss at Urbandale. The J-Hawks swept all 11 matches in straight sets. Gavin Ross and the Ankeny boys' golf team made some tremendous strides on Wednesday. Jags’ Houser commits to Northeast Iowa; Indian Hills lands Buffington, Wildebour

Ankeny Centennial senior Trae Houser has committed to play baseball at Northeast Iowa Community College, while Ryan Buffington and Logan Wildebour of Ankeny are both headed to Indian Hills Community College.
