Ankeny, Centennial boys’ tennis squads headed to substate team play in Class 2A

Both the Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial boys' tennis teams have earned spots in postseason play from the Iowa High School Athletic Association. The Hawks (4-6) have been placed in Class 2A Substate 1. Despite a couple of close matches, the Ankeny Centennial boys' tennis team dropped an 11-0 decision at Johnston on Tuesday. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Dragons, whose only loss came at Waukee Northwest on April 16.
