Cal Wahlberg picked a good time to make some history. A junior midfielder on the Ankeny boys' soccer team, Wahlberg set a school record with his 15th assist to help the seventh-ranked Hawks to a 1-0 victory at Waukee Northwest on Tuesday. Boys’ substate pairings announced: Jags, Hawks to host semifinal games on May 27

The boys' soccer postseason will look a little different this year. Substate final winners will advance to the state quarterfinals, which will be played at host sites across the state. Postseason brackets announced for girls’ regional, boys’ substate team tennis

All four of Ankeny's tennis teams will be in action this weekend in postseason play. Both the Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial girls' squads have been placed in Class 2A Region 3.
