The Ankeny Centennial baseball team completed a 7-2 victory over visiting Urbandale on Tuesday afternoon.
The CIML Conference game had been suspended due to rain on June 16. The ninth-ranked Jaguars improved to 9-5 in the league and 14-7 overall, while Urbandale’s records dropped to 3-13 and 8-15.

Centennial pitchers Colton Arndt and Brekken Miller combined on a one-hitter. Arndt (2-1) started the game eight days ago, allowing no earned runs and recording three strikeouts over the first four innings.
Miller, a freshman, relieved on Tuesday and tossed three hitless innings while racking up five strikeouts. He also drove in a run.

Will Morris and Isaac Bruhl each went 2-for-4 in the win. Morris hit the Jaguars’ second home run of the season and had three RBIs.
Reed Anderson tripled and knocked in a run.

This was the first meeting of the season between the two squads. They are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Urbandale on July 7.
Centennial will host a conference twinbill against Ankeny on Wednesday. The Jaguars will be looking to avenge a 2-1 loss on June 2.
