Ankeny baseball standout Kinnick Vos will get two more chances to play on his home field.
The senior shortstop has been selected to play in the 2025 Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Series. The games will be played at Ankeny High School on Thursday and Friday before moving to Urbandale for the final day of games on Saturday.
Vos will be a member of the Large Schools West team coached by Jason Book of ADM (Adel), Curt Castenson of Dallas Center-Grimes and Shawn Beenken of Waukee. Logan Hicks and Jacob Koerselman of Valley, Will Nuss of Johnston and Grant Sorensen of Waukee will be among the other players on Large Schools West.
Vos was named to the CIML Conference first team at a utility position after helping the Hawks to a 14-25 record. He batted .350 with four triples, five doubles and 16 RBIs.
