Former Ankeny Centennial star Delaney Miller has earned 2025 Division II all-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
A freshman outside hitter at Wayne State College, Miller was named to the third team along with her teammate, sophomore middle hitter Chloe Hanel. The teams were announced on Wednesday by the coaches’ association office in Lexington, Kentucky.
Two other Wildcats, junior outside hitter Channatee Robles and sophomore setter Molly Romano of Council Bluffs, earned honorable mention recognition. It’s the fourth straight year that Wayne State has had at least one all-American and the second time in three years that the Wildcats had four all-Americans, matching the 2023 team.

Miller was earlier named AVCA all-Central Region and all-NSIC first team along with AVCA Central Region and NSIC Freshman of the Year after an outstanding season with the Wildcats. She led Wayne State and ranked third in the NSIC in kills per set at 3.83 and was seventh in points per set (3.95).
Miller had 20 or more kills in six of her last 13 matches, highlighted by a career-best 25 kills while hitting .436 in a 3-1 win over Northern State on Nov. 18 and 24 kills vs. No. 11 St. Cloud State in the NSIC Tournament semifinals on Nov. 21.
Miller was named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 17. She had 21 matches this season with 10 or more kills.
Wayne State finished the season with a record of 27-5 overall and tied for first in the NSIC with a 19-1 league mark, giving the Wildcats their third NSIC regular season title in the last four years. The Wildcats were ranked fourth in the final regular season AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll.
