Like many of his teammates, Jamison Patton has decided to follow head football coach Matt Campbell to Penn State.
Patton announced on Twitter Monday that he is headed to Happy Valley along with nearly 20 other former Iowa State players.
“WE ARE…..HOME!!” Patton tweeted.
Patton, a junior defensive back, helped the Cyclones to an 8-4 record in 2025. The former Ankeny standout started the first nine games at free safety before suffering a season-ending injury.
Patton placed fourth on the squad with 48 tackles, which included 29 solo stops. He had two interceptions, which tied for the team lead, and broke up three other passes.
Patton has one season of eligibility remaining.
