Despite resting many of its varsity regulars, the Ankeny girls’ wrestling team posted a pair of victories on Thursday in a double dual meet at Oskaloosa.
Ankeny rolled to a 46-21 win over the host Indians. Coach Dustin Roland’s team also defeated Dallas Center-Grimes, 42-36.
It was Ankeny’s second triumph over Dallas Center-Grimes this season. The first one resulted in a 59-24 decision in the Holiday Duals on Dec. 20 at DCG.
Jammie Krah, who is ranked sixth at 145 pounds, needed just 34 seconds to record two falls on Thursday. She pinned Oskaloosa’s Lilly Evans in 10 seconds and DCG’s Janaya Malmberg in 24 seconds.
Nora Bockes, Jaedyn Stites and Aysia Moser also went 2-0 on the night with one fall. Moser pinned DCG’s Maddie McMullen in just 21 seconds at 235.

The sweep improved Ankeny’s record to 22-3. The team is just one win shy of the school record of 23 victories, which was set in the 2023-24 season.
Roland’s squad will compete in the Ogden Invitational on Saturday. Ankeny placed second at last year’s tournament behind Osage.
