
The Waukee boys’ bowling team wrapped up the CIML Conference dual-meet title with a victory over host Ankeny on Thursday at B-Roll Bowling.
The Warriors won by a score of 2,655 to 2,087. They finished 6-0 in the league and improved to 9-0 overall, while Ankeny’s records fell to 1-5 and 3-7.
It was a season-low total for the Hawks, whose previous low of 2,093 came in the season opener against Urbandale on Dec. 4.
Gavin Johnston led Ankeny with a 316 series. Clayton Jamison bowled a 310, including a high game of 176.
Preston Carr had a 292 total. Nolan Larson rolled a 266, Hayden Millard had a 255, and George Inman added a 232.
Ankeny will next compete in the conference meet at Great Escape on Feb. 12.
