While the Ankeny Centennial boys' track team dominated the Southeast Polk Relays on Thursday, Ankeny's Tyler Sickerson raced to perhaps the most impressive victory of the night. Ankeny girls win 5 events, edge Dragons by 5 points to defend Hawkette title

It was a banner night for the Ankeny girls' track team. The Hawkettes celebrated their Senior Night by winning the Hawkette Invitational on Thursday for the second year in a row. The Ankeny girls' tennis team opened its season on Thursday with an 8-3 loss at Waukee in a CIML Conference meet.
