Ankeny girls rack up 157 points, defend their title at Boone Invitational

The Ankeny girls' tennis team dominated the Boone Invitational on Friday. The ninth-ranked Hawkettes won the tournament for the second straight year. They racked up 157 points in the five-team field. The sixth-ranked Ankeny Centennial girls' tennis team bounced back from Tuesday's loss to No. 1 Dowling Catholic with an 8-3 victory over No. 3 Valley on Thursday at the Prairie Ridge courts.
