The Central Iowa Metropolitan League will look a little different this year.
Both Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial will remain members of the CIML Central Conference for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, but half of the six-team league will feature new members.
Dowling Catholic, Johnston and Urbandale will now be part of the Central Conference, replacing Southeast Polk, Valley and Waukee. The Rams, Tigers and Warriors will move to the Iowa Conference, joining Fort Dodge, Marshalltown and Mason City.
Ames, which was previously part of the Central Conference, will also remain in the league.
The Metro Conference–consisting of East, Hoover, Lincoln, North, Roosevelt and Ottumwa–will remain unchanged.
