Ashley Harrington of the Ankeny girls’ basketball team is the Ankeny Fanatic Sub of the Week sponsored by Blimpie.

Harrington, a junior guard, has helped Ankeny to a 4-1 record. She scored nine points and had two assists as the Hawkettes posted a 74-39 victory over visiting Des Moines Lincoln on Tuesday.

Harrington is averaging 7.8 points per game. She made 6-of-7 free throws and scored 13 points in a loss at Mason City on Nov. 26.
