The Ankeny Centennial girls’ tennis team raised its record to 2-1 with an 11-0 victory at Des Moines North on Tuesday.
The Jaguars won all 11 matches in straight sets.
“Our varsity and JV won every match,” said Centennial coach Ryan Petersen. “Our No. 3 player, Tayler Bloom, was out because of shoulder pain. But we moved the girls up (in the lineup), and they performed well.”
Centennial’s top two players, sisters Alli and Jordyn Gustafson, did not spend much time on the court.
Both Alli and Jordyn posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory in singles. The duo then combined for another 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
The Jaguars will host a CIML Central Conference dual meet against Ames on Thursday.
