Ankeny Centennial receiver Max Snyder has signed a letter of intent with Minnesota State-Mankato.
Snyder said it wasn’t an easy decision.
“I looked at a lot of schools and also visited multiple,” said Snyder. “It was tough to try to narrow down what I wanted in a school for sure. But I liked the coaches a lot at Minnesota State, and the fact that they had the major I wanted made it an easier decision.”
Snyder caught 44 passes for 573 yards and three touchdowns last season. He helped the Jaguars to a 7-5 record and a trip to the Class 5A semifinals.
Snyder was named to the District 1 first team in Class 5A.
“Max Snyder is a very skilled (wide receiver) who has great catch radius,” Minnesota State-Mankato head coach Todd Hoffner tweeted on Wednesday. “He has a knack for finding open spots on the field and taking advantage of what the defense gives him. @MaxSnyder_24 will be a great addition to the MavFam!”
