Centennial’s Foster, ACA’s Quick selected to play in Saturday’s IGCA All-Star games

Seniors Makenna Foster of Ankeny Centennial and Katie Quick of Ankeny Christian Academy have been selected to play in the 2025 IGCA All-Star softball games on Saturday at Waukee High School.

Both Foster and Quick will play for the White team, which will be coached by Brad Holub of Solon and Brett Delaney of Centennial. Ava Husak of North Polk will also be a member of the White squad.

The White team will face the Red team at 3 p.m. and the Blue team at 5 p.m. The Red and Blue squads will then meet at 7 p.m.

The event will also include a home run derby and the presentation of various awards.
