Ankeny catcher Reagan Enright has committed to play softball at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.
Enright joins her teammate Kennedy Palmer, who previously committed to the Tritons.
“I liked the coaches at Iowa Central and how welcoming they were!” Enright said. “Also, a goal of mine is to hopefully be able to play at a bigger school after my two years, and I thought Iowa Central could help me do that!”
Enright helped the Hawkettes to a 27-13 record last season. She played in 33 games and started 26 times as a junior.
Enright batted .267 with one home run, four doubles and 17 RBIs. She received all-conference honorable mention.
“I looked at a few other four-year and two-year schools, but I decided the junior college route was best for my future!” Enright said. “After visiting a couple more schools, I knew Iowa Central was the best fit for me!”
