Senior Carter Accola of the Ankeny boys' track team is one of the state's top hurdlers. He currently ranks second in Class 4A in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.40 seconds. High school qualifiers for the Drake Relays have been announced. The Ankeny boys' track team qualified in a total of 12 events, but one of the Hawks' top qualifiers will not be competing.
