Ex-Jaguar Olson makes first career start for Cyclones

Former Ankeny Centennial standout Collin Olson made his first career start for the Iowa State football team on Saturday.

The redshirt junior started at left guard in the Cyclones’ 26-13 victory over Akron at Jack Trice Stadium. He took the place of Josh Mueller, who has been banged up.

Iowa State (1-2) will visit TCU next Saturday.
