Gabby Schnepf is a member of the Ankeny girls’ golf team.
Schnepf shot a 122 in a Class 4A regional meet on Monday at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown, helping her squad to a fourth-place finish. The Hawkettes posted a season-best score of 384.
“Gabby is a freshman that has moved her way up to a varsity spot in a short amount of time,” said Ankeny coach Seth Hagarty. “Especially considering she is balancing dance and golf during this time of year!”
