Ankeny Centennial seniors Leyton Kolln and Tripp Rawlings will continue their baseball careers at the junior college level.
Kolln recently committed to play for Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Neb. Rawlings has committed to Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls.
The duo helped Centennial to the best season in school history in 2023. The Jaguars posted a 30-8 mark to set a school record for victories.
Kolln played in six games and started three times as the backup to all-state catcher Nick Severson. He batted .375 with two triples, a double and five RBIs.
Rawlings, a pitcher, made three appearances on the mound. He posted a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA.
Rawlings pitched five innings, allowing no runs on just three hits. He walked none and had four strikeouts.
