Another Ankeny baseball player has made his college choice.
It’s the same decision that two of his teammates already made.
Senior third baseman Carson Agan has verbally committed to play for Ellsworth Community College. Pitcher Brock Adamson and catcher Max Watson previously committed to the Panthers.
“Knowing Brock and Max are going there wasn’t a big factor in my decision, but it was definitely a positive for me in the end,” said Agan.
Agan helped Ankeny to a 23-14 record last season. He played in 35 games and started 31 times as the Hawks won their second straight CIML Iowa Conference title.
Agan batted .288 with one home run, four doubles and 14 RBIs.
“I liked the new and updated facilities that Ellsworth has,” Agan said. “I also feel like me and coach (Kirk) Clark have started to build a great relationship.”
