Ankeny Centennial girls’ basketball stars Mya Crawford and Jaeden Pratt have been named to the Class 5A West all-district team along with Ankeny standouts Savannah Gage and Jayla Williams.

The teams were selected by the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association, which also named Ankeny Christian Academy standout Katie Quick to the South all-district team in Class 1A.

Pratt was selected to the all-district team for the third straight year, while Gage was named to the squad for the third time in four years. Both Crawford and Williams were repeat picks.

Crawford, a senior guard, has helped the Jaguars to a 14-7 record heading into postseason play. The Drake recruit averages 14.4 points and a team-high 4.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.

Pratt, a senior forward, leads Centennial in both scoring (14.5) and rebounding (8.7). The Illinois State commit needs 33 more points to reach the 1,000-point career milestone and joined Crawford in surpassing the 600-rebound career mark in Friday’s win over Southeast Polk.

Gage, a senior guard, has helped the Hawkettes to a 9-12 record. The St. Thomas recruit averages 11.0 points and a team-high 3.1 assists.

Williams, a junior guard, leads Ankeny in several categories. She averages 14.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks.

Quick, a senior guard, has helped ACA to a 16-6 record. The Eagles will play at Martensdale-St. Marys in a Class 1A regional quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Quick averages a team-high 10.2 points and 3.5 assists. The Drake volleyball recruit also leads ACA with 33 3-point goals, shooting 30.3 percent from behind the arc.
