Coming off a 10-1 loss at Dowling Catholic on Thursday, the Ankeny boys' tennis team will host the Dennis Hoefle Invitational on Friday at the Prairie Ridge courts. The Ankeny boys' tennis team advanced to the semifinals of a Class 2A substate team tournament on Monday before dropping a 5-0 decision to host Mason City, the No. 7 team in Class 2A.
