With a simple tweet, Devyn Robinson announced some breaking news.
“Tell a friend to tell a friend…she’s baaaack. #5thyear,” she tweeted on Dec. 22.
The former Ankeny Centennial volleyball star has elected to play a fifth collegiate season at Wisconsin, where she helped the Badgers to a national championship in 2021.
Robinson, a 6-foot-2 right-side hitter, recently earned all-American honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the third time. She was named to the honorable mention team after earning third-team honors in 2020 and 2022.
Robinson earned second-team all-Big Ten honors and first-team AVCA all-Northeast Region awards this season. She helped her team to the NCAA national semifinals before the Badgers lost to Texas, which went on to win its second straight crown.
