The Ankeny Centennial duo of Mya Crawford and Jaeden Pratt has received all-state girls’ basketball honors from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association along with Ankeny standout Jayla Williams.
Crawford, a junior guard, was named to the Class 5A first team. She also earned first-team honors from the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association.
Crawford led the Jaguars to a 14-9 record and a trip to the state tournament. She paced her team in scoring (15.3), rebounding (7.3), assists (3.0) and steals (3.3).
Pratt, a junior forward, was a repeat selection to the second team. She averaged 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Williams, a sophomore guard, was a third-team pick. She averaged 13.6 points and a team-high 5.6 rebounds while leading the Hawkettes to a 13-10 mark.
