Junior midfielder Alli Macke of Ankeny has earned all-state honors from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association for the second straight year.
Macke, who was named to the Class 3A second team as a sophomore, was selected to the first team along with teammate Emma Gott. Ava Martin of Ankeny Centennial was also a first-team pick.
Macke led the Ankeny girls’ squad to a 14-5 record and a trip to the Class 3A semifinals. The Iowa recruit scored a team-high 15 goals and also contributed five assists.
Gott, a senior forward, helped Ankeny to a share of the CIML Conference title. She had 14 goals and eight assists.
Martin, a junior forward, led the Jaguars to a 13-7 mark and a state tournament appearance. She racked up a team-high 14 goals and seven assists.
Junior defenders Maddison Balashaitis of Centennial and Sophie Loeffler of Ankeny were both second-team selections.
Balashaitis helped her team record six shutouts. She also had three goals and an assist.
Loeffler had one goal and two assists while also helping her team post 11 clean sheets. She has committed to play for St. Cloud State along with Gott.
