
The Ankeny Centennial volleyball duo of Delaney Miller and Jaeden Pratt has been named to the CIML Conference first team along with fellow seniors Baileigh Carlsen, Reagan Hanfelt and Kamryn Scheib of Ankeny.
Pratt, an outside hitter, earned first-team honors for the third time. Miller, an outside hitter, was also a repeat pick.
Pratt and Miller led Centennial to the conference title with an undefeated 8-0 record. The Jaguars went 32-5 overall and reached the Class 5A semifinals for the third straight year.
Pratt and Miller were unanimous picks along with Carlsen and Hanfelt. Those four were named on all nine ballots from the coaches in the league.
Carlsen, Hanfelt and Scheib led Ankeny to a 36-5 mark. The Hawkettes qualified for state for the seventh year in a row.
Carlsen was joined on the first team by fellow libero Annalise Grant of Dowling Catholic. Scheib is an outside hitter, while Hanfelt is the lone middle hitter on the first team.

Other first-team picks were setters Ella Rogers of Dowling and Kaelyn Wieland of Valley and outside hitters Malia Rogers of Waukee and Logan Vogt of Waukee Northwest.
Junior libero Mya Lei-Butters of Centennial, who almost made the first team, was a repeat pick to the second team. She was joined on the squad by teammate Maegan Cheeseman, a junior setter.
Senior right-side hitter Olivia Eike of Ankeny was also a second-team pick. She was a unanimous selection along with middle hitter Kate Nelson of Dowling.
Other second-team picks were outside hitters Maggie Craig of Waukee and Kaylie Klein of Dowling; right-side hitters Jaida Bell of Johnston and Stella Braddock of Waukee; setter Avery Vogt of Waukee Northwest; and libero Grace Vandehaar of Southeast Polk.
Ankeny and Centennial each placed two players on the third team. The Hawkettes landed sophomore outside hitter Marlee Ellison and senior right-side hitter Maya Ridgeway on the squad, while the Jaguars were represented by senior right-side hitter Finley Greiner and junior setter/right-side hitter Tatem Schmidt.
Greiner, Schmidt and Ridgeway were unanimous picks to the team along with middle hitter Ellie Muller of Dowling and right-side hitter Piper Ladwig of Waukee Northwest. Other third-team picks were outside hitters Leah Janulewicz of Waukee Northwest and Thia Raridon of Valley and middle hitters Ela Tabakovic of Urbandale and Alexa Weber of Waukee.
Senior defensive specialist Ilana Coleman of Ankeny and junior middle hitter Mady Ott of Centennial both earned all-conference honorable mention.
