Ankeny Centennial offensive lineman Lucas Juravich has committed to play football at William Jewell College.
Juravich announced his decision on social media earlier this week.
“I want to thank my mom, dad and all my siblings for pushing me farther than I thought I could go,” Juravich tweeted on X.
Juravich was part of one of the state’s best offensive lines that played a key role in the Jaguars’ 8-3 season that was capped off by a trip to the Class 5A quarterfinals. He was named to the District 1 first team.
Juravich becomes the third Centennial lineman to make his college plans. Max Dickinson earlier committed to Sioux Falls, while Gavin Humphrey is headed to UW-Platteville.
William Jewell posted a 5-6 record this season. The Cardinals went 3-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
