Ankeny Centennial girls’ basketball stars Mya Crawford and Jaeden Pratt have been named to the CIML Conference first team along with Ankeny standout Jayla Williams.

Crawford was a unanimous pick for the second straight year, while Williams was again a repeat selection. Pratt also earned first-team honors for the second time; she was previously honored as a sophomore in 2023.

Crawford, a senior guard, helped the Jaguars to a 17-8 record and a second trip to the Class 5A semifinals in three seasons. The Drake commit averaged 13.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while leading her team with 95 assists, 76 steals and 28 blocks.

Pratt, a senior forward, averaged a team-high 14.4 points and 8.8 rebounds. The Illinois State recruit joined Crawford in reaching the 1,000-point and 600-rebound career milestones this season.

Williams, a junior guard, led Ankeny to a 10-13 mark. She averaged a team-high 14.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while also leading the Hawkettes with 66 steals and 33 blocks.

Junior guard Ainsley Kiene of Ankeny was named to the all-conference second team. Kiene averaged 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and was the team’s best free-throw shooter, making 88.4 percent of her attempts (61-of-69).

Savannah Gage of Ankeny was selected to the all-conference third team along with fellow seniors Finley Blackmore and Ava Martin of Centennial. Gage earned all-league honors for the fourth time in her career.

Gage, a guard, averaged 10.8 points and 3.2 rebounds. The St. Thomas commit, who also reached the 1,000-point career milestone this season, led the Hawkettes with 71 assists.

Martin, a guard, averaged 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds. The Missouri Western soccer recruit led the Jaguars with 44 3-point goals.

Blackmore, a guard, averaged 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds. She will play at Western Colorado.

Three other players earned all-conference honorable mention. They are junior forward Reagan Baldwin and junior guard Kyla Schaapveld of Ankeny and senior guard Tillie Smith of Centennial.

Smith was a repeat selection. She has committed to play for Grand View.

Class 5A state champion Johnston and runner-up Dowling Catholic each had two unanimous first-team selections. The Dragons were represented by senior forward Amani Jenkins and junior guard Jenica Lewis, while the Maroons landed senior guard Ava Zediker and junior forward Ellie Muller on the squad.

Sophomore guard Romey Croatt of Waukee Northwest was also a unanimous pick to the first team. The other first-team picks were senior guards Alyssa Bartlett of Southeast Polk and Emilie Sorensen of Waukee.
