
The undefeated Ankeny Centennial boys’ soccer team is now ranked 14th nationally in the latest spring rankings from United Soccer Coaches. Coach Brian Duax’s team is also ranked second behind Jackson Hole (Wyo.) in the Region III rankings.
The Jaguars currently boast a 10-0-2 record and are No. 1 in the Class 4A rankings for the second week in a row. They will be severely tested this week with road games at No. 6 Johnston (6-2-2) on Tuesday and at No. 5 Southeast Polk (9-2-4) on Friday.
Johns Creek (Ga.) tops the national rankings with a 19-1 record. Edmond Memorial (Okla.) is No. 2 at 12-0.
