
Ankeny standout Easton Lowe has been named to the Class 4A North Central all-district team along with six Ankeny Centennial players by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Lowe, a senior outfielder, was selected to the first team. He batted .370 with three home runs, five triples, five doubles and 16 RBIs while helping the Hawks to a 14-27 record.
Centennial placed seniors Alex Cory, Trae Houser, Will Morris and Eli Starr on the second team. They were joined on the squad by two of their teammates, junior Will Nesler and sophomore Brekken Miller.

Starr, a pitcher, helped the Jaguars to a 20-16 record. He compiled a 5-2 mark with a 3.56 ERA and 58 strikeouts.
Cory, a first baseman, batted .328 with two homers, four triples and 27 RBIs. Nesler, a shortstop, batted .361 with seven triples, 10 doubles and 26 RBIs.
Miller, a catcher, batted .318 with two homers, six triples and 23 RBIs. Houser, an outfielder, batted .299 with four doubles and 14 RBIs while stealing 22 bases.
Morris was named to a utility position. He batted .333 with one homer, seven doubles and 19 RBIs while going 1-3 on the mound with a 3.34 ERA.
