Lowe, Nesler earn all-state honors from Iowa High School Baseball Coaches

Standouts Easton Lowe of Ankeny and Will Nesler of Ankeny Centennial have earned all-state honors from the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.

Lowe, a senior outfielder, was selected to the Class 4A second team. He helped the Hawks to a 14-27 record.

Lowe batted .370 with three home runs, five triples, five doubles and 16 RBIs. He will play next year for Northeast Iowa Community College.

Nesler, a junior shortstop, was named to the Class 4A third team. He helped the Jaguars to a 20-16 mark.

Nelser batted .361 with seven triples, 10 doubles and 26 RBIs. He also stole 12 bases in 12 attempts and scored 32 runs.
