Dylan Taylor of the Ankeny boys’ golf team is the Ankeny Fanatic Sub of the Week sponsored by Blimpie.
Taylor earned a spot in the Hawks’ varsity lineup and has been one of the team’s most consistent players. The sophomore opened the season with a 79 to place ninth in the Des Moines Roosevelt Invitational on Aug. 9 at Waveland, helping the Hawks to a fourth-place finish.
Taylor then shot a 78 in Ankeny’s dual-meet loss to Dowling Catholic on Aug. 14 at Otter Creek.
