Four standouts from the Ankeny Centennial boys’ soccer team have earned all-state honors from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association along with a pair of stars from Ankeny.
Senior forward Tate Duax and senior defender Ben Ridlen of Centennial were both named to the Class 4A first team. They were joined on the squad by senior midfielder Cal Wahlberg of Ankeny.
Two other Jaguars, senior midfielder Brock Brazeau and senior defender Mace Nithang, were both selected to the Class 4A second team. Senior Keaton Kobow of Ankeny was also a second-team pick.

Duax led all of Class 4A with 28 goals and 21 assists while leading the Jaguars to a 17-1-2 record and a runner-up finish in Class 4A. He was a repeat first-team pick.
Duax was a second-team selection as a sophomore and thus becomes the third member of his family to earn all-state honors three times. His father, Centennial coach Brian Duax, was a first-team pick at Valley in 1997-99, and his older brother Ty was a three-time all-stater for the Jaguars in 2022-24.
Ridlen contributed three goals and four assists. He was also one of the leaders for a defensive unit that recorded eight clean sheets.

Wahlberg scored 10 goals and had a team-high 11 assists while helping the Hawks to a 5-12-1 mark. He was a second-team pick as a junior.
Brazeau had six goals and a team-high 12 assists for the Jaguars. Nithang contributed three assists.
Kobow finished the season with 10 goals, tying Wahlberg for the team lead in that category. He also had six assists.
