The transition into the CIML Conference worked out perfectly this season for the Ankeny volleyball team. The second-ranked Hawkettes completed a perfect run through the league schedule with a four-set victory on Tuesday at No. 9 Valley. The Ankeny girls' swimming team closed out its dual-meet season with a 128-58 victory at Southeast Polk on Tuesday. The sixth-ranked Hawkettes won nine of the 12 events, including all three relays. Rick Fee wants to spend more time with his family. The Ankeny Centennial boys' golf coach resigned from his position, just two days after the season officially ended. Senior Paige Beason helped the 11th-ranked Ankeny girls' cross country team to a sixth-place finish among 24 squads in the Fort Dodge Invitational on Thursday at Lakeside Golf Course.
