Ankeny's Aidan Doruska finished in 19th place in the Class 3A individual boys' state bowling tournament on Monday at Maple Lanes Bowling Center in Waterloo. Ankeny bowler Aidan Doruska will get to make another trip to Waterloo. The senior placed third in a Class 3A substate tournament on Tuesday at Maple Lanes Bowling Center, allowing him to qualify for Monday's individual state tournament. Senior Aidan Doruska has helped the Ankeny boys' bowling team to a 2-5 record. He currently ranks second among the Hawks with a 346.8 series average. Doruska has been a four-year varsity regular.
