The Ankeny Centennial girls' track team won a pair of relays and placed fifth overall among seven squads in the Craig Oldham Invitational on Tuesday at Johnston. Only 15 points separated the top five teams in the Hawkette Invitational girls' track meet on Thursday at Ankeny Stadium. Indianola won the meet with 118 points. The Ankeny Centennial girls' track team earned a fourth-place finish in the Sherwood Relays on Saturday at Iowa City High. A weather delay of nearly an hour couldn't slow down the Ankeny Centennial track teams. The battle for third place in the Jaguar Invitational on Thursday came down to the final event of the girls' track meet.
