The members of the Ankeny Centennial boys' 4x200 relay team thought they could beat Cedar Rapids Jefferson at the Class 4A state track meet on Friday. A year ago, Riley Moss won a Drake Relays flag as a member of the winning shuttle hurdle relay team. Thursday's Waukee Invitational provided one last opportunity for the Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial boys' track teams to qualify for the Drake Relays.
