Ankeny swimmers place 2nd at regional meet, qualify for state in every event

The Ankeny girls' swimming team has qualified for the state meet in every event. The Hawkettes placed second in a regional meet on Saturday at Summit Middle School in Johnston. Ankeny divers Kolars, Boehlert survive tough regional meet, advance to state

Ankeny divers Hannah Kolars and Lydia Boehlert have both qualified for the state meet. Kolars placed fourth in a regional meet on Thursday at Summit Middle School in Johnston. The Ankeny girls' swimming team wasn't at full strength for this week's CIML Conference meet. Kolars scores season-high 415.00 points, places 3rd at CIML Conference meet

Ankeny's Hannah Kolars earned a third-place finish in the CIML Conference diving meet on Tuesday at Waukee. Kolars, a senior, posted a total of 415.00 points. The Ankeny girls' swimming team closed out its dual-meet season with a 128-58 victory at Southeast Polk on Tuesday. The sixth-ranked Hawkettes won nine of the 12 events, including all three relays. The Ankeny girls' swimming team got a much-needed win on Thursday.
