The Ankeny Centennial girls' tennis team raised its record to 2-1 with an 11-0 victory at Des Moines North on Tuesday. The Jaguars won all 11 matches in straight sets. Ankeny Centennial's Trevor Formanek set a school record in the discus during the Hi Covey Relays on Tuesday at Ames. Formanek placed second in the event with a throw of 145 feet 11 inches. A never-say-die attitude helped the Ankeny Centennial girls' track team to a runner-up finish in the Craig Oldham Invitational on Tuesday at Johnston. The Ankeny Centennial boys' track team placed second in the Brooks Relays on Saturday at Valley. The Jaguars racked up 140 points, finishing 35 points behind the host Tigers.
