Former Ankeny softball star Peyton Daugherty continues to be a hitting machine. The Ankeny Centennial boys' soccer team clinched at least a share of the CIML Iowa Conference title with a 2-0 victory at Ames on Tuesday. Monday's Waukee Invitational at Beaver Creek Golf Club in Grimes featured some of the state's top girls' golf teams. Valley, the Class 4A state champion in 2019, won the meet with a 315 total.
