The Ankeny girls' soccer team relied on a simple formula to defeat a pair of opponents this weekend. Just score some goals early and often. Raineri leads Hawks to win over East, then commits to play for UCCS

It was a good weekend for Kolby Raineri and the Ankeny boys' soccer team. On Friday, Raineri recorded a hat trick to lead the fifth-ranked Hawks to a 7-1 victory over Des Moines East in a non-conference game at Cownie Park. Hawkettes, Jaguars perform well at prestigious Kansas Relays

A trip to the Kansas Relays proved to be beneficial for both the Ankeny girls' and Ankeny Centennial boys' track teams. Mytika Mayberry placed fourth for the Hawkettes in the girls' 100. She posted a time of 12.12 seconds, which now ranks third in the state. Ames girls roll to 11-0 victory over Hawkettes

The Ames girls' tennis team showed on Friday why it's a threat to make another run at the Class 2A state team title. Ankeny sprinter Mayberry advances to 100-meter final at Kansas Relays

Ankeny's Mytika Mayberry has qualified for the finals in the 100-meter dash at the Kansas Relays. Mayberry won her preliminary heat on Friday in a time of 12.15 seconds, which set a personal record.
