Ankeny Centennial's Devyn Robinson showed again Tuesday night that she can almost single-handedly take over a volleyball match. The Ankeny girls' swimming team finally got a chance to compete in its home pool again. The fourth-ranked Hawkettes won seven of the 12 events and defeated No. 7 Johnston, 104-82, on Tuesday at Trail Point Aquatics Center. Freshman Rachel Rolow has helped the fourth-ranked Ankeny girls' swimming team to a 5-2 dual-meet record. The opening round of the boys' Class 4A state golf meet was played in cold and blustery conditions. Unfortunately, the weather may not be much better on Saturday. A lot of different swimmers contributed to the Ankeny girls' swimming team's victory in the Ram Relays on Thursday at Southeast Polk.
