Hawkettes tie for 3rd at Indianola Invitational

The Ankeny girls' tennis team tied for third place in the four-team Indianola Invitational on Friday. Pella won the tournament for the fourth straight year, racking up 148 points. It took awhile for the ninth-ranked Ankeny girls' soccer team to figure out how to slow down Southeast Polk's Sydney Milani in Thursday's game at Altoona. The Ankeny girls' tennis team dropped an 8-3 decision at Southeast Polk in a CIML Central Conference meet on Thursday. Abby Johnson contributed to two of the Hawkettes' three victories.
