Senior Emily Bogle helped the Ankeny softball team to a 28-13 record. The ninth-ranked Hawkettes ended their season with a 4-0 loss at No. 5 Valley in a Class 5A regional final on Tuesday. Sioux City North became the latest shutout victim of Ankeny Centennial's Alex Greiner on Saturday. Ankeny senior Jayden Maifeld is one of the state's top pitchers. He tossed a four-hitter to lead the Hawks to a 12-0 victory over Ames in five innings on Thursday. Former Grand View standout Munson named Ankeny bowling coach

Hannah Munson has already enjoyed plenty of success as a bowler. Now, the Minnesota native is hoping to become a successful coach as well.
