Saturday's CIML Iowa Conference boys' swimming meet was expected to produce a tight battle between second-ranked Ankeny and No. 6 Ames for the league crown. It never materialized. Waukee girls top Ankeny bowlers in matchup of undefeated teams

The Ankeny girls' bowling team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday at Warrior Lanes. Waukee remained unbeaten with a 115-pin victory over the Hawkettes. Strom, Centennial girls rout Bobcats again, raise their record to 9-1

Lizzie Strom and the Ankeny Centennial girls' basketball team are on a roll. Strom scored 14 points and had two blocks off the bench to help the fifth-ranked Jaguars to a 71-8 victory over visiting Marshalltown on Friday. A huge second quarter from junior guard Caden Kelling helped the Ankeny Centennial boys' basketball team to a 75-38 victory over visiting Marshalltown on Friday. Hawkettes cruise past Fort Dodge, move into sole possession of 2nd place

The Ankeny girls' basketball team moved into sole possession of second place in the CIML Iowa Conference on Friday. The 13th-ranked Hawkettes posted a 66-40 victory at Fort Dodge.
